Christopher Collins


Christopher W. Collins is a co-founder and Managing Director of First Atlantic Capital, LLC, an investment company located in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing on the acquisition, redevelopment and investment in multifamily housing properties throughout the United States.

Chris has 40 years of success in building and growing businesses and value propositions in corporate, entrepreneurial and regulated settings. He is an accomplished principal and CEO with a track record of value creation, leading a number of high-profile companies and partnerships.

The most recent partnership is a differential investment strategy based on acquiring limited partner and corporate investor interests in multifamily housing properties and investment funds. This exclusive joint venture and investment platform is in partnership with Iron Point Partners, LLC. Iron Point is part of the Robert Bass family of investment funds with over $22 billion in equity capital.

Chris was also a managing partner and principal of a national investment firm that controlled more than $8 billion in real assets located in 48 states and raised over $3 billion in equity through investment programs, both privately and publicly registered. Chris has also directly developed or redeveloped more than 20,000 apartment communities throughout the United States.

Chris is a past or current member of Board of Directors for Enterprise Community Partners, Boston Private Bank and Trust Company, Massachusetts Development Finance Agency, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, The Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation, Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition, and National Multifamily Housing Council. He is a member of Business Executives for National Security, and is a finance director for the Republican Governors Association’s Executive Roundtable. He is also a past or current member of Board of Directors or Corporator for Furman University, Montserrat College of Art, The Governors Academy, Brookwood School and Belmont Hill School.
