David Corbin, MS, CPP, CHPA brings over 20 years of expertise in private security, renowned for building and elevating security operations in high-stakes environments. As Director of Security at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, he advanced workplace violence prevention and played a pivotal role in COVID-19 test center security. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he led a transformation of the security department into a proprietary force. Corbin is the author of the Patient Violence Prevention and Mitigation Field Manual and has received accolades for his contributions to healthcare security. He holds certifications as a CPP, CHPA, and CPTED Specialist, with advanced degrees from Northeastern University and Roger Williams University. Corbin also consults nationally on security across healthcare, education, government, and corporate sectors. Corbin will serve as the physical security assessor.
