Bond is an academic partner for The Edward Davis Company. Bond is an Associate Professor in the Institute for Public Service at Suffolk University and has over 25 years of experience working with police and community agencies on a variety of research and practitioner initiatives. Dr. Bond’s area of expertise is criminal justice, social policy implementation and comprehensive and collaborative community approaches to community safety. Her research focuses on the structures, processes, and mechanisms that support the adoption
and effective implementation of innovation and evidence-based practices. Her research expertise centers on multi-method, action research methodologies to describe and understand social and public policy implementation and impact.

Bond partners with municipal and state agencies across the country on organizational change and policy implementation. She serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance Smart Policing Initiative. Previously, Dr. Bond served as a Research Associate that Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government in the Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management.
